That’s how much our dinner cost tonight. About 61 U.S. Dollars. And it so wasn’t worth it. We ate at an Indian restaurant and ordered “Dinner A”. For some reason we were under the impression it was a Set Meal, and was $35 for the two of us. It was not. It was $35 each. The samosas were delicious. The Kuchucumber Salad was canned fruit in sweet yogurt. The chicken was...

"Have you heard of the 'Heavenly Mother'?"
Minding my own business on a bench, waiting for Karen to finish her business in a public restroom, a woman came up to me and asked: “Have you heard of the ‘Heavenly Mother”?” Of course, I bit the line. I love when people talk to me about religious things: “I haven’t.” “Oh!” She seemed surprised, “Here, read this:” She handed...

Good News: After the New Year, I joined a gym down the road from our apartment, and have been consistently working out. I’ve also been eating healthier and watching my portion size. I tried adding cinnamon (as you might see in the pictures), because I read that could get rid of it, but it’s just too moist in this apartment. We have a related problem with condensation on our windows. I’m sad,...

Okay, So We Did Have Fun...
Looking back at our trip photos, we’ve come to realize what a good time we actually had. I hope we didn’t come off as too negative or judgmental of Malaysia. I am happy for the experience and glad we went. We learned a lot about ourselves, the world, and the power of expectations.

Malaysia: Kuala Lumpur & Langkawi **VERY LONG**
WARNING: This post is long, it will take some time to read. Karen and I decided to each write about the trip, so there will be overlapping, disagreements, and personal insights. Enjoy. *Also, We took lots of pictures (I didn’t even upload them all), and because I don’t feel like typing the links to them all, feel free to view them here:...
